Privacy Policy

Overview

Fast Aperture Enterprises LLC provides Vi Vante Camera Pro for iPhone. Core camera processing and ordinary photographic effects, including on-device Bokeh Rescue, take place on your device. Optional AI editing, print ordering, and support reporting use online services only when you choose those features. We do not sell personal information, show advertising in the app, or use app data for cross-app tracking.

Camera, Microphone, and Photos

Camera access creates photos and videos. Microphone access is used for video recording. Photos permission is used to save your work; Apple's picker lets you select a particular photo to open, edit, print, or attach to a report. Selecting or opening a photo in AI Photo Edit Studio does not upload it. We do not scan or upload your photo library. Your original is not overwritten by an AI edit.

Location, Direction, and Sun

Optional While Using the App location permission supports map position, camera direction, calculated sun position, Photo Map, and Open in Maps. Location information may be included in saved photographs and travel with a file you share. Vi Vante does not collect weather. You can disable Location access in iPhone Settings.

Optional AI Photo Edit Studio

The first time you open AI Edit a Photo, the app explains online processing. You may close that notice without opening the editor. Before each generation, including a do-over, you must acknowledge processing and confirm sending the selected photo.

When you send an edit, a working copy of the selected photo, your written instructions, tag locations, annotated reference, and content-aware edit mask are transmitted over HTTPS through our Cloudflare-hosted AI service to OpenAI for image editing. The working copy may be resized for processing; the full-resolution source remains on your device for local compositing. People, faces, objects, text, or other information visible in the photo or included in your notes are part of what you choose to send. Do not submit content you do not have permission to share.

Our service associates edit requests and results with your signed-in account to deliver results, maintain credits, prevent duplicate charges, and limit each included correction to the same image. The app restores the original pixels outside the selected edit areas locally and saves a separate PNG only when you choose Download.

AI Retention and Providers

Our temporary cloud input has a 15-minute expiry and is scheduled for earlier cleanup after processing finishes. Generated cloud results are available for one hour, then scheduled for deletion. These are temporary delivery windows, not a photo-backup service. Download results promptly. Local recovery sources have a 24-hour retention window and expired files are cleaned up on subsequent preparation. Photos you save remain in your Photos library until you delete them.

OpenAI processes the submitted content under its API data controls. OpenAI states that API content is not used for model training by default unless the API customer opts in, and that abuse-monitoring records may contain content and normally remain for up to 30 days, with longer retention possible for legal or safety reasons. Our short cloud-delivery windows do not override provider retention, and we do not promise zero data retention. See OpenAI's API data controls.

Cloudflare and OpenAI may process information outside your country. Online requests necessarily expose technical connection information, such as IP address, to service infrastructure. Processing and security records support delivery, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting, not advertising. AI availability depends on supported regions and provider policies.

Accounts and Digital Purchases

Regular camera subscription customers can continue with the App Store without creating a Vi Vante account. AI credits require Sign in with Apple. Apple authenticates you; we never receive your Apple password. Our isolated account service uses Apple's account identifier, a one-way email hash where applicable, access flags, and hashed session credentials. Your device stores its session securely in Keychain.

Apple processes the annual camera subscription and optional one-time AI credit purchases. We use verified product and transaction identifiers, account association, credit balances, edit status, and correction eligibility to fulfill purchases and prevent replay. The AI credit ledger is separate from the camera subscription and physical print payments. Credit and transaction records can outlast temporary images for fulfillment, fraud prevention, support, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not receive your full App Store payment-card details.

Optional Physical Print Orders

Only the crops you explicitly approve for a print order are uploaded to our isolated Cloudflare print service. Delivery information, including name, address, email, and phone where required, is used for checkout and fulfillment. Stripe processes payment, including Apple Pay where available, and Prodigi receives the approved print image and necessary fulfillment details to produce and deliver your order. Payment, shipping, and order records are retained as needed to complete orders, resolve issues, prevent fraud, and meet recordkeeping requirements. Our temporary print images are subject to expiry; fulfillment providers have their own processing and retention obligations.

Optional Support Reports

Pressing Send Report sends a random report ID, time, your summary and description, app version and build, iOS version, device model, locale, and an image resized for support only if you attach one. Reports travel over HTTPS through the Vi Vante report service and its support-delivery provider. We retain reports as reasonably needed to investigate and respond. Do not include information you do not want to send.

Your Choices and Deletion

You can use the camera without AI editing, print orders, or support reports. Review Camera, Microphone, Photos, and Location permissions in iPhone Settings. Sharing uses the iOS share sheet and sends a file to the destination you select. You control saved photographs through Photos.

Sign Out removes access on that device. Delete Account on the account screen deletes your Vi Vante account record and invalidates its sessions; it does not cancel an Apple subscription or delete your Photos library. Temporary AI images continue through their expiry cleanup. Separate purchase, credit, print, and support records may remain for the purposes described above. To request access, correction, or deletion of other retained personal information, email us below. Apple subscription management and cancellation remain available through Apple; deletion of an account is not cancellation of billing.
