Privacy Policy

Overview

Vi Vante Camera Pro is an iPhone camera. Camera frames and photographic effects are processed on the device. The app does not sell personal information, show advertising, or use data for cross-app tracking.

Camera, Microphone, and Photos

Camera access is used to create photos and videos. Microphone access is used only while recording video. Photos access is used to save your work and, when you choose, open a saved image for editing or attach an image to a report. Captures, edits, and exports remain on your device or in your Photos library unless you choose to share or report them.

Location, Direction, Sun, and Weather

If you grant While Using the App location permission, the app may use your location and compass heading to record map position, camera direction, sun position, and current weather with a photograph. Weather requests use Apple Weather services. This information may be embedded in the photo or its Vi Vante provenance and will travel with the file if you share it. You can deny or disable Location access in iPhone Settings.

Support Reports

Sending a report is optional and occurs only after you press Send Report. A report sends a random report ID, time, your summary and description, app version and build, iOS version, device model, locale, and—only if you select one—an attached image resized for support. The report is sent over HTTPS to the Vi Vante report service and relayed to its support-delivery provider. Support reports may be retained as reasonably necessary to investigate the issue, protect the service, and respond. Do not include information you do not want to send.

On-Device Storage and Sharing

The app stores camera preferences and temporary session files on the iPhone. Completed originals are saved to Photos when authorized. Edited copies are created only when you choose to save them. Sharing uses the iOS share sheet and sends a file only to the person, app, or service you select. Photos-library retention and deletion are controlled through Photos and iOS.

Your Choices

You can review or change Camera, Microphone, Photos, and Location permissions in iPhone Settings. You can use the camera without sending a support report, and you can send a report without attaching a photo.
